Mualim Muda returns for its second season with an even greater mission: to discover and nurture a new generation of young Muslim leaders who not only possess strong Islamic knowledge but are also able to put their values into practice and inspire positive change within their communities.

Embracing the theme "Pemuda Berjiwa Dakwah, Kini Dengan Misi Lebih Besar" (Young Preachers, A Greater Mission), the new season introduces a refreshed and more challenging format featuring real-life community engagements, discussions on contemporary issues and creative digital content that brings Islamic teachings closer to today's generation.

Ten contestants from diverse backgrounds will embark on a journey that tests more than just their religious knowledge. From communication and leadership to creativity and the ability to engage with communities, each challenge will push them to demonstrate how Islamic values can be applied in everyday life. While each contestant brings a unique story, experience and perspective, they share a common purpose: to spread goodness, inspire others and turn knowledge into meaningful action.

This season welcomes the return of Dato' Ustaz Kazim Elias and Dr. Kamilin Jamilin as judges, alongside new addition Ustazah Asni Masnor. Ustaz Shahrizan Daud also returns as the programme's Mursyid (Principal), providing guidance and mentorship throughout the contestants' journey. Meanwhile, Atu Zero and Fakhrul UNIC join forces as hosts, bringing their distinctive personalities to the stage.

In an era where technology and artificial intelligence (AI) have made information readily accessible at our fingertips, Mualim Muda Season 2 highlights the importance of seeking knowledge, deepening our understanding of Islam and recognising the value of meaningful guidance in translating knowledge into everyday practice.

Don't miss Mualim Muda Season 2, premiering 31 October 2026, every Saturday at 9 PM on Astro Oasis (CH 106) and Astro Prima (CH 105). Also available to stream On Demand via Astro GO.
