We wish to inform our customers that the General Consumer Code: Sub-Code on Opt-In Requirements ("Sub-Code") was registered by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) on 25 May 2026 and came into effect on the same date.

The Sub-Code sets out requirements for obtaining consumers' clear, informed and voluntary consent before the provision of certain services, with the aim of enhancing transparency and consumer protection.

Astro complies with the requirements of the Sub-Code and remains committed to ensuring that customer consent is obtained in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
