Astro StockLink is a value-added, interactive service offered by Astro. It provides market summaries, list of stocks by name or stock number, the ability to view best buying and selling prices, top ten gainers and losers by volume or price, the ability to manage a portfolio of up to 24 of your favourite stocks and up-to date news, entitlements, trading rights and research updates by industry experts and more.

How much do I have to pay for Astro StockLink?
There is a monthly subscription fees of RM4.95.
Who can access this service and what equipment do I need?
Astro subscribers with the Digital Multimedia Systems (equipment purchased after August 99) can access this service. They must have an Astro satellite dish installed and a Nokia/Philips Digital Multimedia Terminal.
Do I need to subscribe to Astro in order to register for Astro StockLink?
Yes. Astro StockLink is only available to Astro subscribers.
If I have a DSR, or purchased my box prior to August 1999 how can I access Astro StockLink?
We are currently working with our technology partners to evaluate the possibility of providing a further software upgrade that may allow your DSR to receive some of the new interactive services that we plan to introduce.
How does Astro StockLink benefit me?
This service provides you an inexpensive way to view and keep track of their favourite stocks on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in real time, from the comfort of your homes or office.
What is the difference between Astro StockLink and other stock monitoring services in Malaysia?
Astro StockLink is unique as it offers live stock information directly from Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange to your television sets. There is no internet connection or modem required.

Are the stock quotes in real time?
The stock prices will have a time lag of approximately 30 seconds as it is beamed down from the satellite.
Will Astro StockLink be affected by rain fade?
Unfortunately rain or heavy clouds does affect Astro StockLink’s signal though we do not expect this to be significant given that our current service availability rate exceeds 99.8%.
