Like all multi-channels Pay-TV services around the world, Astro operates on the principle of additional screenings of programmes. This actually provides you with the convenience of watching all your favourite programmes even if they are playing simultaneously on different channels, or if you are unable to watch your desired programme for any other reasons, as you can catch the missed programme at a different time. Notwithstanding, we are committed to working with our channel suppliers to provide a high number of new programmes and fresh content each month.

The short delay in transmission is to ensure that Astro complies with the government guidelines on foreign and unsuitable content. The time delay allows us to replace foreign advertisements and commercials that may not be suitable for Malaysian viewers.

We currently offer over 30 different Mix and Match packages which provide a high degree of choice and flexibility to suit different budgets and interests for all our customers. We are also bound by our agreements with the channel suppliers to group channels into certain packages. Nevertheless, Astro will review our package structure periodically to make it easier for our customers to choose and select packages according to their budgets & needs.
