Launched in December 2011, NJOI is Malaysia’s first subscription-free satellite TV service. NJOI gives customers in Malaysia immediate access to 48 TV and radio channels, comprising lifelong learning, information and entertainment programmes for a one-time payment, with no monthly subscription required.
NJOI is available for a one-time payment of RM328 (GST incl.) at any authorised NJOI retailer. An additional RM100 standard installation fee applies.

With the implementation of GST from 1 April 2015, customers who purchase NJOI bundled services will be subject to the 6% GST, as GST is now applicable for all goods and services. This is as per nationwide implementation by the Royal Malaysia Customs Department.
For now, there will be no further price change. Upon the implementation of GST from 1st of April 2015, the price of NJOI bundled services is as per recommended which is subject to the 6% GST.
You will have to purchase a brand new box at the price of RM328 (incl. GST) with RM100 installation charge.

In line with making our NJOI Prepaid services more convenient and flexible for our customers, we offer extended validity period for selected NJOI Prepaid channels. Customers will have the choice and flexibility to choose between the validity periods available. No government tax is charged when you purchase prepaid NJOI vouchers. Customers will get a full RM10 in their NJOI e-wallet upon topping up reload value of RM10. Example, if the customer reloads RM10 into his wallet, he will have RM10 to spend on purchasing the desired channels available.
With the implementation of GST from 1 April 2015, customers who purchase NJOI Prepaid channels will be charged with 6% GST when they buy a channel. The GST amount, together with the value of the channel will be deducted when the channel is purchased.

WWE Network, Channel 820 is a standalone channel available on subscription basis. It is a dedicated and 24/7 channel that offers nonstop WWE actions. It will be launch on 15th July 2015 for NJOI customers.
WWE Network includes all 12 WWE live Pay-per-view events (WrestleMania, SummerSlam, WWE Elimination Chamber, Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank and others), WWE, WCW and ECW Pay-Per-Views and classic matches, as well as ground-breaking original series, reality shows, classic shows, documentaries. It also comes with on demand content with new programming added regularly.
WWE Network will be launched on 15th July 2015.
All NJOI customers can subscribe to the channel.
WWE Network will broadcast primarily in English.
WWE Network contains a range of programming suitable for various audiences. Content rated P13 or 18 will be preceded by appropriate advisory messages recommending viewer discretion.
WWE Network is available for NJOI customers at RM15.90 – 7 days and RM26.50 – 30 days (Price inclusive of GST). NJOI customers need to purchase NJOI Prepaid vouchers to top-up their account before purchasing WWE Network through NJOI Service Portal, CH 200.
NJOI Prepaid is a pay-as-you watch service available to all NJOI customers who own a set-top box (DMT or RDMT), Out-Door Unit (ODU) satellite dish, smartcard and remote control unit.

Once you have purchased a prepaid channel, you will have access to it for a fixed duration. Please refer to the table below for channel viewing durations.
As of 7th December, 2015, NJOI prepaid credit will have an expiry period of 60 days from the day of your top-up. Available credit balance before 7th December 2015 will expire on 5th January 2016.
No, viewing duration of prepaid channels purchased is not affected by the expiry date of topped up credit.
Upon expiry your expired credit will no longer be available for use. Any top up done after the expiry date be updated accordingly, do note that it will consist of a 60 day expiry period upon top up.
Performing a top up before the expiry date of your credit will renew the expiry date of the total credit amount in your prepaid account. It will override the previous expiry date, hence, giving another 60 days from the day of credit top up.
All prepaid vouchers and ch200 on NJOI will have detailed guidelines on how to check balance and expiry date.

Yes, you may do so. If you purchase the same channel, the start date for the viewing period will continue from the end date of your previous purchase for that channel. In other words, you will not lose any viewing time. Should you purchase a different channel, both channels will be viewable simultaneously.

We understand the need to offer a variety of services to meet the diverse needs and wants of our customers. With NJOI and NJOI Prepaid, customers can enjoy subscription-free satellite TV as well as pay-as-you watch services at an affordable price with no recurring subscription fees or contractual obligations. On the other hand, Astro customers can experience the latest premium services including PVR, HD, 3D, as well as Astro On-the-Go.
As part of Astro’s CSR initiative, Astro is offering / providing free NJOI package comprising one (1) set of decoder and standard installation. For your information, there will be no monthly subscription for the NJOI Community Package.
All Underprivileged Centres registered with the Social Welfare Department (JKM) and five (5) Underprivileged categories registered with the Registrar of Society (ROS) are entitled for the NJOI Community Package.

We are not downgrading your subscription package. We have repositioned our community package to now offering free NJOI Community Package as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. This package is offered to all Community Centres nationwide regardless whether the centre is a registered centre with JKM or ROS.
The T&C signed by the Centre under the previous ‘Underprivileged Scheme), Item 11 stated that:
• Astro reserves the right to revise the quantum of rebate or withdraw the offer anytime it deems appropriate without reference to the Community care centres. Astro also reserve the right to revise the monthly subscription fees anytime in the future in line with the market rate or revise the programme packages or the number of channels offered to the Community care centres.
If you take up the NJOI Community Package offer, you won’t be able to maintain the Family Pack. For your information, effective 1st September 2015, all Community Package accounts will be converted to NJOI Community Package.
However, should you decided to maintain the Family pack, we will convert your account to normal Astro Astro Residential account and you would need to pay RM42.35 (GST incl)per month for the family pack.
Yes, you can install both the NJOI Community Package and normal Astro service concurrently using 2 separate decoders. The normal Astro service is payable.
As part of Astro’s CSR initiative Astro will provide free Njoi services to the poor and hardcore poor from the e-kasih database under the Implementation & Coordination Unit (ICU) of PMO.
WThe recipients are those registered with e-Kasih database managed by the Implementation & Coordination Unit (ICU) of PMO. The criteria are determined by ICU and fulfillment is at the discretion of Astro.
You need to register at https://ekasih.icu.gov.my/Pages/Default.aspx. Please note that the criteria are determined by ICU and fulfillment is at the discretion of Astro.
In order to participate in program, you must have:
I. Reliable and stable electricity supply (including a working power socket outlet to which the Njoi equipment could be connected to); and
II. A working television set at your place of residence where the Njoi equipment is to be installed and activated.
The service is free for a lifetime for the channels provided, so long as the decoder is in working condition (the decoder comes with a 12 months warranty and 24 months warranty for Act of God)

i. 12 months warranty from the time the box is activated
ii. 24 months warranty from the time the box is activated; covering faulty box caused by act of God such as fire, flood and earthquake.
