Terms & Conditions

1. STAR MOVIES FAN FEST 08 Contest will be held from now till 31st August, 2008 and is open exclusively to Astro Movie Package customers in Malaysia only.
   
   
2. Employees of STAR MOVIES & Astro All Asia Networks plc, MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems Sdn. Bhd and its subsidiaries and affiliates (‘ASTRO’), sponsors, agencies, dealers, retailers and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
   
   
3. Each contestant is only allowed to send in 1 entry either in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
   
   
4. Contestants’ Astro Movie Package account must remain active during the contest period.
   
   
5. The contest winners will be notified via telephone, email or mail. The winner must collect the prizes at the designated location assigned by ASTRO or STAR MOVIES once the winners have been announced.
   
   
6. Notwithstanding the above, STAR MOVIES & Astro reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to vary the prizes with others of equal value, without assigning any reason or giving prior notification. The Contest Prize is given on an “as is basis”.
   
   
7. STAR MOVIES & ASTRO reserves the right to use the names, photographs, voice of the winner and entries of the contest winner for publicity purposes without obtaining any consent or payment to the contest winner.
   
   
8. STAR MOVIES & ASTRO shall not be responsible or liable for any problems, damage or loss of whatsoever nature to the winner and companion resulting from their participation in the Contest/use of the prize.
   
   
9. The winner agrees to indemnify STAR MOVIES & ASTRO on a full indemnity basis with respect to any claim, suit, or proceeding of whatsoever nature brought by any of the winner beneficiaries and/or third party(s) in respect of the acceptance and/or use of the prize.
   
   
10. Contestants are required to adhere to the Contest’s Terms and Conditions. STAR MOVIES & ASTRO reserves the right to forfeit the prize(s) in the event any of the Contest Terms and Conditions is not adhered to.
    
    
11. The Judge’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence shall be entertained.
    
    
12. STAR MOVIES & ASTRO reserves the rights to change, amend, delete or add to this Terms and Conditions of this Contest without prior notice at any time and the Contestants shall be bound to such changes.
