ORGANIZATION – The tournament is organized by Astro, managed by CSSB Events S/B and conducted according to the Rules of Golf as approved by R&A Rules Limited and the Local Rules of participating golf clubs. The decision of the Tournament Committee is final in the event of any disputes regarding the play within the tournament.

 

MODE OF PLAY – Individual Stableford with 3 medals.

 

HANDICAP – Players are required to produce their latest MGA/ NHS Handicap to determine the Handicap for the day. Failure to declare the latest handicap at any time may result in disqualification. Men shall play off the Blue tees and women off the red tees unless otherwise specific. Maximum Handicap 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

 

PRIZES – The Organizer reserves the right to replace any of the prizes (without altering the retail value of the prize) as deemed fit without consultation with the prize winner. The A Medal Champion of each leg will qualify to the Grand Final.

 

WINNERS ELIGIBILITY – ALL STAFF of Astro and her associate companies, CSSB and her associate companies, sponsors and partners of The Philips Astro Masters golf tournament 2008 will not be eligible to win any prizes except for lucky draw prizes when participating in the tournament.

 

AMATEUR STATUS – (Rule 3-2.a – General Rules of Amateur Status) An Amateur golfer must not accept a prize (other than a symbolic prize) or prize voucher of retail value in excess of 500pounds or the equivalent. The Organizer is duty bound to inform the national sanctioning body the details of the winner who receive prizes exceeding the abovementioned amount. Astro, CSSB and its sponsors shall not be liable for any action taken on participants for any breach of Rules pertaining to Amateur Status.

 

WEATHER – In the event that the tournament has to be abandoned due to unfavorable weather condition, then the tournament committee shall decide on the distribution of prizes and their decision is final.

 

LIABILITY – Astro, CSSB Events S/B and her sponsors will not be responsible for any loss, damage or harm, or any form of injuries that the golfers of the tournament may suffer as a result of participation in this tournament.

 

PUBLICITY – Astro and CSSB Events S/B reserves the right to advertise the details of the winners in any form as deem fit by them including the golfer name, photographs and quotations.
