In conjunction with the debut of the multimillion-dollar-production Korean drama on Astro Shuang Xing on 30 June’08 at 10.30pm, Astro & Multimedia Entertainment have jointly organized a contest to bring 5 lucky couples to Jeju Island, Korea, where the drama series was shot.
This 32-episode drama series portrays the life of the Great King Gwanggaeto of the Goguryeo kingdom. Gwanggaeto's reign marked a high point in Korean dynastic history, and the drama follows his rise to power, military conquests, and romantic encounters. The drama stars Bae Yong Joon (Winter Sonata), Lee Ji Ah & Moon So Ri.
There are 5 ways to win the trip for two and other attractive prizes in this Contest:-
- Watch the live “Enews” on Astro AEC (Every Saturday @ 1pm)
Every Saturday starting 5 July’08, the host will ask one question each week based on the recent 5 episodes just shown on Astro Shuang Xing. A total of 7 questions will be asked; and participants are to submit the 7 answers together with a slogan. The participant with the all correct answers will win the Grand prize. Should there be more than one participant with the all correct answer; the slogan will be used as a tie-breaker.
- Watch “U r On air” on Astro Wah Lai Toi (Every Friday @7.30pm)
This brand new program is an interactive, infotainment show on Astro Wah Lai Toi. Don’t miss the 1st episode which will debut on 4 July’08!
In the 1st & 2nd episodes, TV audience will be given a chance to participate in the contest. Selected participants will be able to enter the final round on 25 July’08 to take away the Grand prize.
- Listen to MYFM
MYFM will be starting the contest on 7 July’08; and it will run for 5 consecutive days till 11 July’08. On each day 2 questions will be asked at selected time belt during the day. Caller through must answer the questions accordingly and the best answer of the week will win the Grand prize which is a trip for two to Korean. The results will be announced in the morning of 14 July’08.

Don’t miss issue no. 319 of the “Yeah!” magazine! This issue will have all the information on the drama, as well as the contest form to win away the Grand prize.

Capital FM will run the contest from 1 August – 31 August ’08. For details, look up in their website at www.capitalfm.com.my .
You can participate any of the contests run by the 5 individual platforms, and the 5 grand prize winners could bring their partners for the 5-day 4-night tour to visit Jeju Island & Seoul.
The other prizes include the DVD box set, the original soundtrack of “The Legend” and the limited edition poster of the drama series.
